Dunki Movie Review: Rajkumar Hirani’s film, starring Shah Rukh Khan and Taapsee Pannu, is a cozy and comforting gift for the entire family.
Dunki, which features a lot of humor that occasionally becomes too much to handle, is a film that is filled with heart and the distinct style of filmmaker Rajkumar Hirani. It’s not a spoiler to say that the majority of Dunki’s story takes place in flashback, as the trailer made it apparent that SRK will be portraying both a young and elderly man. We witness how Manu and Hardy first met, how they were drawn to one another while traveling to London on the Donkey flight—an illegal immigration route—and how they overcame various obstacles along the way.
